Creative, caring individuals needed to work in residential program for adults w/disabilities. Requires minimum of one year related experience and high school diploma. Must have valid CT driver’s license with a clean driving record. CPR/First Aid required. $8.50-$14.50/hr.
Sat & Sun, 3 pm - 11 pm, 16 hrs bi-weekly
Sat & Sun, 3 pm - 7 pm, 8 hrs per week
Thur 11 pm - 8 am, overnight asleep; and Fri & Sat 11 pm - 7 am, overnight asleep, 25 hrs bi-weekly
DAY PROGRAM POSITIONS
Coach, Disability Services: Full time. Creative, caring individuals to provide services in day program for adults w/disabilities and behavioral challenges. Requires experience with adults with developmental disabilities and/or mental health or behavioral challenges, CPR, First Aid, and PMT. Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid CT Drivers license with good driving record. Will be required to obtain Public Service License, and be able to drive a 12 passenger van. Coaches will be expected to pick up and drop off clients when scheduled, using agency vehicle, and will also drive clients on field trips. Must have a high school diploma/equivalent. Mon-Fri 8:45 am to 3:45 pm, $12.00-$14.50 per hr., 35 hrs per week.
Life Skill Coaches-IDN, Disability Services: Creative, caring individuals needed to provide 1 to 1 direct care and support to individuals in the Day Program for adults w/disabilities. Requires minimum of one year experience with adults with Developmental Disabilities, and high school diploma. Must have valid CT Public Service License, or be eligible to obtain a PSL, with clean driving record and 21-yrs-old. Mon-Fri, hours vary, - $13.00-$14.50/hr.
Driver: Part time positions for experienced drivers with valid Public Service license or CDL to transport adults with disabilities to and from work and/or day program. Requires clean driving record. Split shift, Mon.-Fri., 7 – 9 am, and, 2:30 – 4:30 pm, 20 hrs, $11/hr.
HEAD START POSITIONS
Assistant Cook: Full time: Assist the chef in implementing the Head Start meal service program in compliance with Head Start and CACFP regulations including meal preparation and delivery, washing dishes, order, inventory and completing required documentation. Ability to push food carts weighing up to 80 lbs on a regular basis and to lift and carry weights up to 40 lbs on an occasional basis. Food Service License preferred. Ability to obtain certification in food safety and sanitation. $9.00-$10.00 per hr. 35 hrs per week. Hours vary between 7:00 am and 2:00 pm.
