Creative, caring individuals needed to work in residential program for adults w/disabilities. Requires minimum of one year related experience and high school diploma. Must have valid CT driver’s license with a clean driving record. CPR/First Aid required. $8.70-$14.50/hr.
Sat & Sun, 3 pm - 11 pm, 16 hrs bi-weekly
Sat & Sun, 3 pm - 9 pm, 12 hrs per week
Sat & Sun, 7 am - 3 pm, 16 hrs per week
Thur 11 pm - 8 am, and Fri & Sat 11 pm - 7 am, overnight asleep, 25 hrs bi-weekly
DAY PROGRAM POSITIONS
DSO Program Supervisor: Full Time, full year: Performs first line supervisory/professional work supervising staff, developing and implementing programs and coordinating site activities defined by the Program Coordinator and Disability Services Director. Works with Case Management and the Program Coordinator to ensure goals are realistic and within standard accountability guidelines. The Program Supervisor is expected to maintain knowledge of all DSO client programs, including when they are being implemented and correcting any issues as they arise.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years experience with Developmentally Disabled population or Associates with 7 years experience with Developmentally Disabled population; and 3 years supervisory experience working with staff in a DDS environment; First Aid, CPR, PMT and DDS Medication Certification, a valid CT Drivers License, and the ability to obtain/maintain a Public Service license. Hours: 37.5 per week, 8:15 am to 4:15 pm, pay rate: $18-$20 per hour, based on experience.
Life Skills Coach ID, Disability Services: Full time. Creative, caring individuals to provide services in day program for adults w/disabilities and behavioral challenges. Requires experience with adults with developmental disabilities and/or mental health or behavioral challenges, CPR, First Aid, and PMT. Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid CT Drivers license with good driving record. Will be required to obtain Public Service License, and be able to drive a 12 passenger van. Coaches will be expected to pick up and drop off clients when scheduled, using agency vehicle, and will also drive clients on field trips. Must have a high school diploma/equivalent. Mon-Fri 8:45 am to 3:45 pm, $13.00-$14.50 per hr., 35 hrs per week.
Driver: Part time positions for experienced drivers with valid Public Service license or CDL to transport adults with disabilities to and from work and/or day program. Requires clean driving record. Split shift, Mon.-Fri., 7 – 9 am, and, 2:30 – 4:30 pm, 20 hrs, $11/hr.
