Carrigan After-School

The Community House's "Carrigan After-School Program" provides sixty 7th and 8th grade students at Carrigan Middle School with a safe, constructive alternative for the hours after school.  Meeting four days per week during the school year, the Carrigan After-School Program engages youth in homework help and tutoring, recreation and enrichment, and life skills development.  A focus is placed on helping youth build the knowledge and skills they need to make healthy choices, particularly with regard to fitness, drugs/alcohol/tobacco, and early sexual activity.
