TEEN Job Club

The Community House's TEEN Job Club engages high school students in after-school and summer activities that facilitate academic achievement, positive social development, and workforce participation.

The program consists of: after-school sessions that develop life, academic and work-readiness skills; career exploration; workplace visitation, job shadowing, and paid work experience; and monthly visits to local employers and educational institutions.

Eligible participants are: residents of West Haven; high school junior or senior; low-income; and one or more of the following: deficient in basic literacy skills; homeless; a foster child; pregnant or a parent; an offender.
